In Hawaii it’s custom to always remove shoes before you enter a home. I do my interiors with socks only. Not the safest but respectful to my clients.
That’s what I do, I keep a pair of canvas low cut converse all stars in the truck. I sit on the front porch and put them on so the customer can see me

I service a number of homes with a “Please remove you shoes” sign outside the front door. Every owner comments in a positive way that I am honoring their request even though I am using shoe covers.
Wearing shoe covers is a must. It is our policy. It says you care and are respectful when entering a clients home.
Shoe covers will be included on my next order. I rather use shoes but have no covers, so I take my shoes off. I looked all over locally and couldn’t find anything. Shipping cost to Hawaii is super high so I tend to order big batches to make it worth it.
Did you check a local medical or janitorial supply store?
