I might build the Wag version. I think I have all the parts besides an 18" Pulex channel. Does Pulex just fit the best? Also, I’ve had the screw on the Wagtail handle become loose in the plastic. I replaced it with a larger screw and it eventually became loose. Have you had to come up with a fix for this?
No. It’s the cheapest aluminum channel. It may be the lightest too. But you can use any kind of channel. Steccone works well.
I use a self tapping screw right into the channel. Solves that issue and holds rubber in place.

If you want to have a Wagtail that will hold just about any squeegee channel on the market check this out.
Got a link for somewhere that sells that Universal clamp so I can buy it stateside online somewhere?
As far I know no one makes or sells them.
However did a video of how to make them about 6 years ago.
Funny no manufacture picked up on this.
