Can I do well cleaning only exterior windows?

The thought of scheduling and liability makes me think inside windows would be a hassle. I really would just love to wfp the outside as a finishing touch add-on. What say you?

I think your only challenge would be maintaining those customers on a regular basis. Unless you are willing to schedule a job just for window cleaning the schedule for window cleaning would need to line up with the roof cleaning. I’m not familiar with roof cleaning so I don’t know how often that goes. The windows will average 1-2 times a year. Unless you where willing to maintain the windows in between there roof cleanings they may want to use someone else for the windows. If roof cleaning is goes as often as windows then I think you could easily add it and get a lot of business.

That said it would work great for one time cleans, on customers not looking to repeat the window cleaning on a regular basis for sure. I would add gutter cleaning too if you don’t already do it.

We prefer to just clean outs, but still do some interior work. I can get 80% of my normal charge, plus be out of their in less than 1/2 the time.

I would love to just use my WFP.

Ed I think this could be done. You just need to create to market for it. Advertise “exterior window special” on all your materials. Just dont even mention the insides. You will of course have people that ask about the insides it will be up to you what to do with the conversation form there.

I love doing exteriors only.
It always happens… the customer only wants the exterior done but once they see the outsides they will usually pay the extra for the inside. Either way I win.

A lot of the time the inside is worse than the outside, and I’m not talking about restaurants.

Thanks for the input guys. Im building a box truck and have the room for wfp setup. The smaller trucks are pressed for room as it is.
