Ok, We do tons of house washing but I have never washed this wood material. It’s a really nice house and Im guessing it will be totally fine, but I wanted to check with some of you guys first to make sure. Will this type of material get hurt at all if we use our house washing mix? We use chlorine mix probably like most everyone here. Let me know your thoughts.
The house doesn’t even need washed, but some people like to have the peace of mind knowing its clean…
If that wood has stain on it, it will run when you hit it with s/h. Is there mold on it or just dirt, dust and cobwebs? Be very careful and remember to rinse like crazy. There is also a good chance after the wash, the wood will lighten up in colour. Be careful.
I’ve been doing a lot of homes with just cobwebs. They’re near impossible to get down with just water (rinsing). I’m beginning to think I don’t need to waste SH mix when knocking that stuff down. Just water and Simple Cherry may be all you need to remove the sticky webs.
This time of year when there are alot of spider webs you have to use more soap. The soap will help weigh down the web so you can wash it off easier. Make sense?
I use a pole with a plastic brush duster on the end of it for webs (looks like a mushroom tip). I do this on a lot of my window jobs before I even start on the glass.
