I pulled my pole out to use it one day and realized the part that holds the hose broke off. Can that easily be fixed or is it just trash now?

If you’re really adept at plastic welding, maybe. Otherwise, replacement is probably the most realistic option.
Have you tried Flex Seal? They make a tape and glue/caulk that you can make a boat out of.
