Saw this Video and wondered if this would apply to a DI tank as well to get more pure H2O out of the resin.
Has anyone tried this back flush on a DI tank?
Thanks
Matt

With a DI tank the resin bonds the minerals directly to it. In order to regenerate the resin you need all the right acids and chemicals to restore the charge a remove the adhered impurities. A simple back flush wouldn’t do anything to extend the resin life and could create new problems for you.
I actually googled that and is it ever a process. It even looks dangerous, they were wearing hazmat suits, mixing chemicals…not worth it by a long shot unless I got the wrong site. But frankly, there’s not too much information on regen on the net.
