Canine saliva on tint

I recently submitted a post entitled “Dog Slobber on Tint”. I have since opted to use a more eloquent subject line.

Please forgive my disorganization as I did not take note of the results of that post.

Anyone with information leading to the removal of canine saliva (baked) on tint is requested to come forth.

Have fun, even on regular glass u have to use a razor blade to get it off

I would suggest a heavy dose of Simple Green and some elbow grease.

Where do you buy elbow grease?

At the parts store.

I have a house I do that every pane that is near ground level, and some at couch level that is near glass, is CHOCK FULL OF CAT SNOT, not on window film, but the glass. I pre wet way ahead and wet and wet…dwell time to get the boogies is all, once nice and gushy they wipe right off.

on tint wet geneously. let set and rest wet and rewet and rewet and rewet. I ve got A house w 2 bassset hounds total slobber fest. aaaif youve got tint u cant razor balde

Kevin,
I think whats Doc is saying is sound advice for the melinium, wetting and lettin things soak helps tremendously along with what the Tony Mister also said.scrubbing and wetting are the #1 thing in window washing/cleaning.with a good wet down and scrub the the glass is washed, but kids finger slop and dogs nose mess need that elbow grease.Say i was thinking maybe a quick scrub with oil flo might help. you should test it in da corner first to see if it don’t attack the tint.i just did a job that had tape on the tint and i tried oil flo and didn’t leave it on long and it worked perfectly.of course i tested an area first but all went well.i’m not saying it will work on all tint but it worked on the tint before me,caution is a key factor to cutting edge procedures!

I wouldn’t use or let oilflo dwell on window film, it’s used for film removal…

I have an idea but I am not going to post it. If it works really good you will all get a surprise.

Look Kevin at my age I can’t take many more surprises.

Just thinking of putting saran wrap over the wetted area so it could dwell longer Tony without rewetting Tony. No real world shaker.

I also have a basset hound, when he was a puppy he’d climb on the back of the couch and drool all over our big front window. Always a wonderful time cleaning that off.

:x

What is :x? I am not familiar with that, I just learned +1. Nice avatars.

Thought I read that saran was suing WCR because she didn’t want her name used on this forum…
