Thanks for your response…unfortunately I failed to take pics. Yes, I’m
excited to use my wfp. Bought a tucker ro/di cart used and just received a
pole in the mail today.
Your very first Job and you have a wfp system? That’s quite brave. Make sure you spend a few days training and you’ll be ok. I’d just have made sure this industry is for you first. Neverthe less everyone starts from somewhere.
Edit: I had a look on your website and Facebook. It seems you’ve not jumped into it unknowingly. You’ve done other cleaning methods before. Some others on this forum started the way you did and now focus on windows.
As for the screens. Honestly without pictures most people on here wouldn’t be able to help. Unless you explain some features about the windows etc.
Thanks Gary. Yes, I’ve been cleaning for about a year. Decided to add
exterior window cleaning using WFP since we do quite a few house washes and
are asked to do windows…I’ll practice a bunch tomorrow thanks so much!
Good for you. So many new guys want to go straight into using a water fed pole and not learn how to clean windows traditionally. That’s dangerous because if your water fed pole breaks down then you won’t know how to finish your job.
With enough practice of proper technique the windows will look good. Remember, we are usually more critical of WC results than our customers.
Probably not. You already invested labor and other non-billable expenses to get the job and travel to and from the job site so you might as well leverage these non-billables to increase revenues once onsite.
I just finished the job today. Thankfully, I figured out how to remove the
screens :-). Keeping them organized was my biggest challenge. First window
job done, woohoo.
