What and/or how are many of you pro’s pricing your chandelier cleaning. I offer it but I really want to take it to the $600 an hour level and really own it in our area? I’ve done them from anywhere around $80-$125 and up. I feel that it’s worth a lot more considering that its way more difficult than window cleaning. What’s your thoughts?
I did 1. I agree it was way more work than I imagined. I don’t do them anymore because I was scared to death of breaking something. I would definitely charge as much as you can. This is one job many homeowners can’t or won’t do.
I think it can be worth a bit more as well. You can screw them up pretty easily, if you can charge more for it… do it!
I did one with 20 globes ($60) that were fairly easy to remove while standing on my A-Frame ladder. The globes were VERY light (thin) glass so I was VERY careful. I used Sprayway and micro cloth to gently clean each while on the ladder and moved multiple times to make it around the chandelier making it easy to keep track and not swing the unit much. I don’t know what to charge other than each one is different and charge according to difficulty.
