What would you charge to clean this? They are about 10 off the ground. I have 13 of them to clean…potentially. There’s 24 pieces of glass on each one.
Does the glass bowl easily come off? If so maybe $50
If there’s a little “birdcage” door that you have to stick your hand in to clean the interior, triple that. Those are such a PITA
I don’t do very many chandeliers, maybe 3 or 4 a year, but I am learning quickly how to charge appropriately.
It looks like you need to put your hand in there.
I did one that looked similar to those and you should be able to unhook the metal arms holding the bowl on. We’d charge $50…
Chandeliers are a specialty item and require a bit of care, attention to detail, ladders management, and need to be cleaned well. In order to make sure we give the customer the proper attention to detail that such a task requires we do not charge minimally. On an expensive investment such as a chandelier we charge an appropriate price, reflecting some of these factors. As you look to your pricing consider this job is not a ‘bucket bob’ task. We charge considerably more than $50. For a quantity of 13 I would discount for volume. Discounting for volume needs to be done carefully however as you still need to give yourself or employees sufficient time to complete the task well, and make money. I hope you get the job. Don’t be afraid to ask the decision maker questions about budget, past invoicing, expectations, time frames, repetitive service, other needs, service time requirements. All these factors play a role in pricing as well. Good luck.
I didn’t mean $50 for the whole job I meant $50 for each one, with no discount for volume.

That’s how I read your post.
Sorry Jay for not making this more clear. We charge considerably more than $50 per chandelier. This entire job is a large dollar ticket in the $1,000 plus without a problem. If work is scarce that may give you pause to go less. We simply charge this as a specialty item.
So you’re saying ~$100 per chandelier then?
That would be the ball park for a single chandelier. With 13 you could do a little less and still be ok. That’s my thought but you know there are as many ideas as there are people. Lol…
We actually price them based on how many tiers they are, single, double, triple. I’m thinking of this as a double tier but a single tier would be in the $80ish range. That would be the way I would class these for the quantity, single.
In my opinion those aren’t chandeliers in the picture they are light fixtures and would take no more than 20 minutes to clean.

Light fixtures/chandeliers all the same to me. I don’t do residential. Well I try to stay away from resi, I do a couple here n there but not much. I only do commercial. But I’m not going to say no if someone calls for 13 buildings.
Thanks for all the replies everyone.
