Choosing a Business Name

Hi all
I’ve got a name picked out (All Clear), but what I’m wondering is if I should keep it short and sweet or if I should lengthen the name to clarify the services - i.e. ‘All Clear Professional Window and Gutter Cleaning’. I prefer the short version and when it comes time to printing business cards, flyers, etc., of course I’d add the longer description of the services. I’m going to get a business license in the next day or two and would like your input/advice on what to put on the business license application.

Cheers
Ross

Personally, I would steer away from using overused words in your company name. It tends to make people roll their eyes as almost everyone DOES it.

Avoid things like “Professional”, “Quality”, “Best” etc.

Myself, I would call my company "All Clear"
And tag your company as Window and gutter cleaning specialists.

You have to take a little caution HOW you market. Read the book Duct Tape Marketing BEFORE you start your marketing of your company. Most companies are copycat marketers. You don’t want to do that.

Just keep it simple. I like “All Clear Window Cleaning” you could register your business entity as ACWC and make that an accepted name at your bank for checks (you’re customers will thank you).

ALL CLEAR WINDOW CLEANING, it is! Thanks for your input, guys.

Cheers
