Cleaning Cars with WFP

This might be a stupid question, but I was wondering if any of you had washed cars as an upsell with a wfp? If not, would it be possible to do that? Would it work?

What’s a car wash worth $7-$12, why would you want to?

Hey man that’s storefront money!

Raise your window cleaning prices first, then up sell (not car washes).

Sometimes at a customers house I will
wash my truck quickly with wfp, but
that’s about it. Hog hair only…Nylon bristles will scratch the finish

I often wash the windshield, mirrors, and back window if the car is in the driveway. Then when I present the bill I say "Oh by the way, I also cleaned your windshield on your car. They love it!

I’ve scratched my truck with a WFP in the past.

The bristles are too aggressive for paint.

I’ve soaped up the travel trailer and rinsed with purified water. And thanks for the heads up about scratches. Never thought of it…

ya I would seriously avoid touching paint with a WFP brush, even boars hair. Like others have mentioned, I hit the windshield and side glass of my truck when I’m finishing up a job, but never on paint. Without a car shampoo to help dissolve the dirt and lubricate the brush, you’re just going to end up with extremely swirled and marred paint
