Has anyone ever cleaned the windows an RV? Had a voicemail this morning asking if we could. I’m guessing there will be 3 or 4 windows at most and probably not worth the time…but he’s a past client.
Does anyone have any experience with them? Is is flat glass, or curved like automotive glass?
Haven’t called back yet but I’ll try and go see it this afternoon. Any input appreciated.
Very likely more than 3 or 4 windows. Some of those things are pretty big. Big chance for you to make him a PRESENT client and an opportunity for referrals. I would never pass up a chance for more business. If he gets another window cleaner to do them, what are the chances he will never call you back?
Yeah, I planned on doing it for him because he’s a client. I can’t remember ever looking at the windows in an RV though so I’m trying to picture what we’ll be working with.
You should find 2 large ones on the front, one of each door, more on the sides and one large on the back. Minumum 7 on small RV. Don’t forget to clean his outside mirrors. He will appreciate that.
Turns out it was a camper trailer, with… 7 windows. Good call!
In case anyone searches this later the windows are really just like any other. Strange shapes, but the screens pop out normally and the glass and tracks are no more difficult to access than a standard window…in fact, they’re probably easier.
I think so… it’s close by and we can schedule it for a day block so it’ll fit into the schedule nicely, any day. I quoted him $99 and I’m guessing it’ll take 2 people 20 minutes, tops.
