Looks great what did you end up using.
Definitely watching this one.
Did someone say easy ?
Do tell !!!
Its only worth doing if you seal them afterwards.
But yes please do tell I have had 2 shower customers who I was unable to charge as even with using: phosphoric acid, bar keepers friend, harpic, CL40 stain remover and cerium oxide with a bronze wool pad on a polisher and nothing made an ounce of difference.
Luckily for me all my shower doors are an addon so I spend 10 mins on a test area after I do the windows/house wash.
I agree to seal them just didn’t have any on hand.
All up took about 40minutes to do these.
What did you use?
I’ve had good luck with Bio Clean over the years, but it’s very labor intensive.
looks like they don’t do anything preventive after they take a shower!
would you say it was mostly soap scum and calcium?
we have heavy silicates out here and if people don’t wipe with a towel, squeegee or something to get the water off EVERY TIME it’s going to look like your first picture permanently
So your title would assume you have something to share, but pics are all you are willing to post, have you developed a new product that you plan to bring to market?
I think I can say for many if not all here that we would be keen to hear the method you used and the product to achieve these results the “Easy way”
I’ve also used Bio Clean to rid both soap scum and mild-moderate hard water etching. I use steel wool first, & purchased a dual action polisher with heavy pads to assist. With that said… it’s messy, it’s tough, and kinda Claustrophobic. It works, but it’s certainly not easy. I don’t mind sharing what works for my business, may be it’ll work for yours. Keep sharing🤙🏾
Think it would be more the method and the way you apply the chemical to the glass/surface.
What scrubber material used once the chemical is on the glass/surface.
Will be doing a video in the new year, showing how it is done.
@HE_MAN I dont understand why you post but then wont explain what made it easy?
For situations like this i use black diamond with white pad, then bronze wool, after glass is cleared, i use a sealer such as invisible shield. Done in about 30 min. Ive done this hundreds of times so im not new to this, easy work if you know what youre doing. Nothing special about it.
Easy way: replace the shower doors?
Always find it is easier have video to show as you go.
(Picture tells a thousand words)
But here is explaining is words.
PPE must be worn!!
Have all windows open.
Used old micro fibre cloth those orange ones in 40 pack you get for Super Cheap.
Applied chemical (squirt onto surface using squirt bottle) then aggregated with micro fibre cloth attached scrubber T-bar
Then flood surface with cleaning solution scrub and squeegee done.
You may have to repeat if not all stain off.
This is how we do first clean on older glass that has light minerals on it as well as shower screens.
For heaver stains you would have to move onto more aggressive chemical applied the same way as above.
Or use a machine.
What is the magic chemical you are using, tbh I doubt it would budge the couple of doors I have not been able to remove the staining, perhaps I am also dealing with silicates
What’ are you using one restore ?
Haven’t you guys seen his youtube videos? He always talked about using onerestore. Now i’m not sure this is what he used here but I would assume so.
Not only what you use.
But how you use it that can make the difference.
Between doing it quick or doing slow.
Will make video showing how we do it now.
