Cleaning Solar Panels in the windy sandy desert?

I just purchased xero system and am getting into the solar panel cleaning along with my window cleaning in the Palm Springs CA area. Solar panels are a big thing down here. It is always sunny and windy here with lots of sand always in the air. I am wondering the best way to go at this cleaning. The sand can be quite thick on the solar panels. Would it be wiser to rinse with regular tap water first to get the majority of the thick sand coating off and then use my xero pure system or ??? Wound it not be a saving on my system to use tap first then rodi? Or will the panels spot up to quick from tap water before I have a chance to get to the xero pure waterfed? Thanks for any assistance.

A quick hose wash sounds like a good idea…They may spot up quickly but the spots are so new
they will just rinse away with your system.
