I doubt it, like you said, there’s a stigma. It might fly elsewhere but I doubt it here in Texas

It’s open, I’ve been thinking about it all day… but I don’t have the “balls” (pun, intended) to actually USE IT! 
Yes, dot org was for non profit, dot net was for tech sites but now it doesn’t seem to matter anymore. People take what they can get just to get out there. The extension doesn’t affect your ranking on search engines. I still prefer dot com though if can get it. It’s easier for customers to remember.
