Agree. I’m trying to get better at saying “no” to certain jobs. Like storm windows that haven’t been cleaned or removed in 10 yrs…done that too. I just have this thought that if I want to be professional window cleaning company I should be able to take the good with bad and handle anything that comes my way. Those are usually the jobs I find myself working more hours than I estimated and feeling like an idiot for taking the job in the first place.
Thanks for all the great advice. The contractor would not sign the scratched glass waiver. So I lost the job. This might be a good thing after hearing everyone’s advice.

Good for you for walking a way. I know of a company that did a construction clean on a high rise condo and almost all the unit window had scratches and permanent damage to hand rails. The contractor tried to blame the window company, but they were protected by waivers.
