Compliance depot scam

Compliance Depot does not use scare tactics. The management companies determine the requirements so you need to be mad at them

Compliance Depot employees are all licensed insurance agents and we simply follow insurance regulations and the instructions of each client. You did not even point out just one example of your claim

Some clients require payment prior to us giving out information. So get mad t the client. Also the wording on the certificate does matter and much of it is based on the law. Remember the blame goes to your agent, not us

You do not have to call us so much. You have a login to the website so you can check the status yourself. And it does not take a week to review your documents

From your last 5 or so posts, it seems that you are very quick to place the blame on your clients.

That is probably the single worst move you can make as a businessperson, IMO

The bid is submitted to the PM prior to being told we need to deal with guys, the expense of use you is not included in the bid. Any other expenses, such as changes in ins. coverage, are not included and can be expensive.

You are not placed on hold. We also do not tell people to buy auto insurance. We just inform the client requires auto insurance. Even if you don’t have a car, your equipment has to get there somehow. The Tate certificates we put a one year exp date on it so we can review each year to make sure you still have the coverage. Please get educated

I don’t blame the clients. I am saying, they make the rules yet you are mad at us

What part of that is not blaming the client? lolol

In fact:

This is a great example of polite customer service…Taking no blame, projecting it on to the clients or the contractor. If both sides have so many complaints sooner or later you have to look at the middle. I do not even deal with CD, just an observation after thinking how embarrassed I would be if my employee handled a situation like the poster above from CD.

First, I have never had anything to do with Compliance Depot. Frankly I am glad of this. However, if their response here is indicative of their company then their Public Relations skills are terrible. And their business model is suspect. There are 3.5 years worth of complaints posted here in nearly 100 messages and the company rep has essentially said nothing except “No. All of you guys are wrong. It is YOUR fault. Or it is OUR CLIENT"S fault. Whatever. It’s definitely not OUR fault.”

To make it worse, they have repeated the same thing, one complaint at a time. The Compliance Depot rep’s posts here are perfect for any “What Not To Do When Your Customer is Unhappy” list.

In my best compliance depot voice I’m sorry you had that experience, Tony. You seem to be a great guy with a legitimate concern. We strive to make both our client and the contractor happy which sometimes is a difficult job. The way we work with our clients is to find people who meet the requirements needed without being a big hassle on either party. Feel free to contact me personally with any concerns you may have.

Was that so hard, compliance depot? Are you hiring? Perhaps I would make a great fit for your PR team?

They could greatly benefit from a 5 star certification program.

Obviouslt that is NOT a Compliance Depot voice. It’s the voice of a smart company trying to correct a problem. CD has shown nothing more than a tendancy to deny a widely-held opinion by means of name-calling and deflection.

What I am meaning is that if you have to blame someone, blame the client. They are the one making the requirements.

There is no reason for us to take any blame when very few complaints are legitimate. Most of the complaints are people who just want to gripe. Our agents are very helpful. Vendors forget that we do not set any requirements, the client does. All we do is enforce the requirements

So what do you want us to do? It is a fact that most of the complaints should not be directed to us

I would start by asking myself WHY the complaints are being directed at you. Do not assume that at some point in the chain of your business that the ball is not being dropped. What is your title with CD? You seem to speak for the whole company so possibly you have your finger on the pulse. The majority of complaints I read are due to not calling people back, losing paperwork, making people hold forever. Guess what, window cleaning business owners are busy as hell, if you add another hassle to our day we of course are not going to take it well. When people jack with my time I take it as if they think theirs is more valuable than mine. And no matter your thoughts on that I can assure you mine is more valuable than the person on the other end of the phone 99% of the time.

 SMH

If I didn’t know better, I’d say this is a competitor of compliance depot.
