Construction clean in the winter?

Happy holidays!

I have a construction clean job coming up in a week or two.

Is it a good idea to do a CCU in the winter?

The windows look to be new Marvins with some film that I can peel off, not too bad.

Are windows more prone to get scratched in the winter if I use a scraper?

They look to be in good condition, not a disaster to CCU.

I’m not worried about the cold but if cold weather adversely affects windows when doing a CCU?

It will just a bit more inconvenient. Using a scraper on tempered glass has the inherent potential for scratched glass no matter if it’s hot or cold.

Winter work is great (for some) I prefer to do zero CCU’s for a number of reasons.

I would say no to all CCU winter work and advertise interior work such as high dusting and chandelier cleaning. You’ll be inside and making some nice winter money.
