most the cox reels ive seen online are rated for 3000 psi. my pressure washer is 4000 psi. how are you guys using these reels if they are only rated for 3000 psi.
I have never use a cox but I have heard nothing good. Try this. Reelcraft Hose Reels, Cord Reels and Cable Reels
I’m pretty sure that the paint falls off and they rust out before the pressure is a problem.
I have 2 Cox Reels that I use with my WFP/pure water system, one for the water supply (garden hose) and the other for 3/8" air water/hose to the WFP. After about 3 years use they are still going strong and look good.
On the other hand I have another Cox Reel that I got a couple of years ago for my high pressure hose from my power wash machine. It failed in no time at all and has since served as a storage spool just for winding hose up on. Forget about Cox Reels for power washing needs! They really suck.
Have you heard anything bad?
I have a Rapid Reel mounted atop my Landa trolley.
Cox Reels are Great, hannay are the Best in the industry. Many of the new COX meet the quality of Hannay, If you want the best its is Hannay.
I have a few cox that we tested for them and they are holding up fine on our rigs. They are a Vary durable reel.
It’s good to hear that they finally fixed their quality control issues.
Ron are your reels rated at 3000 psi. That’s the only problem I saw.
