This sounds really awesome, but I see a HUGE potential flaw. Please observe the following conversation
carefully: (the names are made up, but they are very trendy, since this should soon be an app used by very trendy people)
Liam: Yeah, so, I heard about this awesome new app where you can book service providers and stuff.
Jarvis: Yeah? What’s it called?
Liam: HouseCall
Jarvis: Right on, Right on. So how’s it work? (Opens another expensive microbrew and adjusts his really nice glasses)
Liam: Well, my window washer guy showed it to me. I use it to book him right in the app, but he’s the only window guy who shows up…guess he’s the only guy cool enough to be on their list.
Jarvis: Sweet. Let me download it and I’ll check him out too…
Jarvis: (3.2 seconds later) Wow, I see like 20 window washer guys on here, and your guy’s waaaay more expensive that Tweaker Tom’s Glass Guys
Liam: What?!! Let me see…,(looks at Jarvis’ phone, then checks the app on his own phone and still sees only “his guy” listed) What is up with this?! Is this guy trying to scam me?! You’re right, Tweaker Tom is waaay cheaper, and my guy didn’t even tell me about other people being available!!! (In a fit of rage, knocks over Jarvis’ $25 one-off microbrew beer and “steps” outside to call YOU)
THAT is what I see happening, and I don’t like it.

That’s a tough question…It completely depends on how cool he ACTUALLY is, but, to help get a fair estimate, let’s say 2 (normal tolerance, while eating the appropriately expensive cheese and chutney plate)

Best written bit of dialogue I’ve seen in a while, and yes, very interesting point. Again, it goes back to what JfromtheD and I have been talking about… The problem between being BOTH a consumer lead-generation tool and a contractor CRM tool.
JaredAI We just built the Tag functionality we chatted about and updated the CRM yesterday. This is one step closer to full route functionality
That is an AWESOME story haha! Only one thing that’s wrong here… is if they are spending $25 on a microbrew, why are they worried about pricing? Is the only thing that sets you apart from other window cleaning companies price? (remember if you don’t want to be in the booking app, you can turn it off… also, you set the price and if you want to leave it blank you can)

THIS is my whole point!!! On the booking app (which, I have already said MULTIPLE TIMES is ALL I am interested in) PRICE IS the only thing there is to go by…Say what you want, PRICE is highlighted on the booking app, VALUE, QUALITY, ETC are NOT highlighted. Your app, and all the other middlemanning apps, highlight PRICE, simple as that.

The booking scheduling notifications are pretty neat.
Regardless of what your using Pretty much every new customer costs you something to acquire.
Looks like the crm side is getting and will get more robust.
The pure mobile functionality is really nice. Remember the app is purely mobile it won’t be like ag list or home advisor or thumbtack pushing your regular website off the front page.

This is where you are flat out wrong… and I have 10,000s of jobs worth of data to prove that PRICE DOES NOT MATTER. The strongest correlation is response time and reviews. The next variable that’s strongly correlated is the image! (good pic of the company/proprietor).
I looked at the san diego pricing and as a recovering san diego window cleaner the pricing is brutal it’s so low it’s a non factor they all charge the same.
