Let me repeat what I said: the quality and level of customer service ranks the highest.
By using HouseCall Pro you can amplify your level of customer service by making billing/payments/scheduling/dispatching more efficient, which is turn makes the homeowner happy
Yes, yes, and yes! rolandal is stuck in his own frame of thinking (which isn’t to say his opinion doesn’t matter, but it’s only one side of things). He can’t relate to our actual concerns. And the defensive attitude is not working in his favor.
This isn’t to say I wouldn’t ever give HouseCall a shot. But unfortunately, someone keeps trying to talk me out of it. And that person isn’t Michael or J…
Probably the best way for you then would be to download the booking app HouseCall, and then put in an address in San Diego, and ask any of the Window Washers (or any other category) and see what they think, or how they’ve been treated, or how we’ve helped them grow their business at no risk to them.
Personally, I’ve tried many CRM’s and haven’t quite found the right one for me yet. That being said, I was so impressed with my 1 on 1 demo, I signed up to give it a try. I was REALLY IMPRESSED with all of the functions this platform offers! And along with the fact that it is month to month there is no pressure to keep it if it doesn’t work for you.
My deal winner is that it integrates with Quickbooks and that as a WCRA member they offer an awesome discount!
I cannot in good conscience support this product or encourage others to do so. Larry, you know me to be a man of conviction, who says what I think and only what I think. I am convinced that this software/service is NOT in our best interests, as business owners.
Look, the fact of the matter is that this guy doesn’t understand us or our needs. And he doesn’t want to. They have a program that they are trying to get us to buy into. It wasn’t created for our industry (unlike Responsibid, Pro-posal, or The Customer Factor) and it isn’t created solely with us in mind (like Jobber, Zoho CRM, Service Task, etc).
I personally find TCF to be ugly and Jobber to be a little on the basic side, but I encourage everyone to check out those softwares as CRM options. They have proven their longevity in our industry. They aren’t a startup trying to create a new business model, and using you as a marketing method to acquire new customers. BUYER BEWARE.
It’s your business, so do your thing. What’s in it for them in developing route functionality, since their ideal is marrying a consumer and a contractor? Are they gonna be texting all your commercial contacts?
what a weird thread this has turned into. it’s the tin foil hat wearers vs. the developers, with the wait-and-see’ers occasionally making random appearances. very entertaining!
