In the upper left corner of this container is small area that will hold the amount you need for 2 1/2 to 3 gallons of water, I believe it’s a 1/4 ounce but I’m not sure !
Hey good find. I use BioKleen for my carpet cleaning add on service. The CC bioKleen is GREAT stuff, so will give this a try and see if i like it better than EC THANKS!!!
I hope I can find it locally. I had to order ecover by mail last time. It easier if I can just run by and pick up what I need, not a whole case at a time. And if it cleans as good or better than ecover, well that’s just a bonus.
Well went out and found some while at a whole foods. Cost=4.75/quart
i am a ECOVER fan since day 1
Our tap water tds here is close to 300
For my 5 gallon bucket i had to use 2 oz of biokleen to get the same sheeting action that i get from 2 cap full of ecover in a 5 gallon bucket.
The bucket is ALL WAYS used for tap water solutions ONLY.
in my 2.5 gallon sprayer i use ONLY R/O water. This took a little over .50 oz to get the same sheeting action like ecover provides
HOWEVER… The shine is OUTSTANDING!! I was AMAZED by the shine!! It lliterally BLEW my FAVORITE ecover out of the water!!!
Now for the numbers…
a five gallon bucket of ecover solution makes me about $50-60 for 2 capfuls of ecover=64 buckets per bottle=$3200-3.50= $3196.05
a five gollon bucket of BIOKLEEN solution should make me about $50-60 per 2 oz of biokleen 16 buckets per bottle =$800-$4.50 =$796.50
HOW EVER… I VERY RARELY use a 5 gallon bucket anymore. (just used it for testing purposes)
I use a sprayer with r/o almost exclusively.
So .50 oz of BIOKLEEN in a 2.5 gallon sprayer makes me approx $80-90 (this may change with the heat and evaporation of summer…)
64 full sprayers per bottle of bioKleen =$5190 per bottle!!
So for me, unless you are REALLY scrimping its a wash.
BUT… The shine and the Glide kinda pushes me toward Biokleen.
I am using BioKleen for the next couple of week and will update.
Just Remember… I LOVE ECOVER!!!
Peace
Wow, Dave!! I used the zip code locator and apparently this is sold at stores all around me, including one that I go past practically every day. I’ll try almost anything once.
Pag-er
I pretty much am in the same boat even though I don’t go to this extreme on measure I just throw in about a an once of 2.5 gallons of water ! But I’m still just testing with it, seem really good, and not much suds. I just need to see if it leave residue ! I pretty much am sticking close to Ms.Ecover as my primary soap also ! But this Biokleen is a pretty cool soap !
And you are. Right
Way less suds than ecover
I guess I like mine a little sudsy because I found myself looking at the biokleen solution weirdly because of the lack of suds…
Peace pags
I’m confused about bioclean. I have a few stores that sell it but there are so many different kinds. I use their laundry detergent for laundry.
But I see people who use it to remove stains and clean hard water deposits. Which form of Bioclean is for what purpose? I bought their all-purpose cleaner, but I’m not sure I bought the right kind for the job…
Just a Update…
I have LOWERED the amount of biokleen in my 2.5 gallon sprayer.
I ONLY use R/O water for my spray solution so have lowered the amount of biokleen from 1oz to 1/2 oz.
It seems to work… BETTER?
Maybe LESS is MORE…
Will keep youse updated.
Peace
