We did a job for the owner of an ad agency today. He saw our truck in his neighborhood and flagged us down. He said our image and branding was the best of any local small business he’s seen. Yes!!!

I just Rofl’d.
I have a Grey Scion XB, I used to have a Chevy Caviler, that got all sorts of attention with ladders on top and a duck on the side. I’m glad to have a sporty van now though. Its a little more professional.
Too funny Mike. That was a good one. Had me lol. Perhaps they were scared into hiring me?
Mine has got enough jobs to pay for half of itself. Even if they don’t make money directly it will put you ahead of your competition. Its a good reflection of you and your business

combine:
attention
with who you are for and why (usp etc etc)
in a simple format that can be read in 1-2 seconds
with a phrase that says mention this truck for a discount, freebie, gift, whatever - then you can track it for sure
getting attention with some of those beautiful wraps out there is one thing
but many have so many words on a photo background you couldn’t read that thing without crashing your truck, it would have to be parked to read it (that’s contrast issues and too many words)
so you’ve got the attention, now what are you going to do with it to maximize it to bring in your ideal customer? (beyond just announcing your “name, rank and serial number”)
is a good way to approach it
anyone have a wrap long enough to have appearance issues?
how well do they hold up over the years? fade? Chip, peel, dry out? etc
thanks
Very nice looking wrap. I want one…
Art, I read in some other thread, that the truck is your only form of advertising. That’s very impressive. Have you ever used anything else when you were starting out? What do you credit your success to besides the truck? This year I’ll end up with about $7,000 in advertising costs. A on time $4,000 investment that keeps paying you back makes a whole lot more sense. I know you have built the business over many yaers and I only have 1 year, but I would appreciate your thoughts on what you feel is the best place to put advertising $$.
Truck and trailer are both blank right now, because we are in the process of re-branding. What are your thoughts? Still a rough draft, but want something final by mid next week and installed by the end of the month.
Very nice. Stands out, looks professional. I like the vanity phone number.
Looks good Brennon. I like your logo in general. It stands out and is very simple and clear.
If you could work in a little blue on the truck i think it would really blend well. Very nice
That’s a great idea. I’ll eventually have a white truck which will make that easier.
Here is the picture of the two vehicles I had done last year. I was picking them up at the lady that had just put the wraps on. She did a great job and I was pretty pumped. I have got several jobs from them.
Those look real nice.
Thanks Chris I appreciate it. I thought the designer did a great job and the best part is every once in awhile I’ll get a call off of them.

I like both of them. Nice, nice!!
imo your logo could be a little beter if the “water” was in a light blue And I think your number should be too. just looking at it from a distance it will pop better.
Hi Phil,
The truck is my only form of advertising aside from referrals. I have been cleaning glass for over 30 years so this is just normal for me. Guess I already paid my dues and now work just compounds quickly. As for effective placement of advertising, I just don’t have the experience to suggest what to do. Look at your demographics and see what may work best for you. Sometimes that is easier said than done and many of us end up spending money for little return and helpful wisdom. Keep at it.
