The white scrubby pads are so wimpy.

What do you recommend as a step up from the white?

I like the white scrubbies. But you can go to steel or bronze wool if you want.

Elbow grease. If that doesn’t work…

0000 steel wool. Be sure to clean any fibers left behind, they will rust.

Bronze wool. No worries about rust.

You can get Boars Hair Pads… but regular 3m white pads are a cheaper option

What’s a board hair pad? I’ve never heard of those. How do they compare to steel wool?

We use them for glass restoration as well. They are basically white pads with boars hair in them. Cant remember where I got them but I bought a ton over a year ago.

We use unicorn hair pads- ever since they stopped making the troll hair pads they have been a close second! Ask Chris window cleaning resource, they will hook you up with an order.

ABC, JRC, or Window Cleaning Resource. I know I bought a lot of my hard water removal stuff from WCR but I couldnt find it on their website

Thanks Kyle i’ll do some sourcing and see if i can find them, never know they existed.

You can buy them from Stone Pro, if WCR doesn’t have them. That’s where I got mine.
