Do you work on Saturdays?

Yes to most Saturdays and sometimes the odd Sunday. This is from April to Oct. After that it is not busy enough to justify unless the customer works during the week and can’t take a day off to let me into the house.

+1

We work Saturdays. We go off the six day a week schedule. Got to have sunday off for football.

We work almost every Saturday. Try to reserve Saturdays for p.w. or window caulking jobs. The calls for window caulking are up a little over 20% this year.

Work most saturdays. But never on a Sunday! Well, maybe paper work, that tends to be done on sunday, but not actual window cleaning. Very often use saturdays to cover work that was delayed due to bad weather, but also have some regular contract work that is easier to do on sat for one reason or another…

I haven’t worked Saturdays since my 11 year old was born. Weekends are for family around my house.

I take weekends off, one of the benefits of working for myself :D…whatever I cant get done by friday waits till next monday…

What if a client works all week and can’t take time off?

Another benefit of working for yourself is that you can take a weekday off.

Sometimes I’ll work a Saturday or Sunday and take the Monday or Wednesday off.

If we are talkin cleaning windows on saturdays, then no, I dont but my guys do. I work every single day in the office doing something tho.

My weekends are no less important than my customers’. If I really cannot accommodate them , I recommend someone that can. Like, oh, that bald guy in the videos, that really isn’t that bald in real life…

On rare occasions I’ll work a Saturday afternoon.

Weekends are a state of mind… I like white water. So if it rains on Tuesday that won’t help me on Saturday and may even mess with my Tuesday. So I swap them around. Working on the sabbath is covered too. “If your lamb should fall into the pond on the sabbath…get to work.” And I’m pretty sure that if it rains on Sunday he’ll forgive me.

And on a rare occasion… Sundays as well. But the work is there, the economy sucks, and beer is good

I will work on a saturday if the work is there. Like today, made $400 in four hours. Can’t complain about that.5 minutes from the house.

I’ll take a weekday off if I need to, but my weekends are for family and its just something Ive always done. Im not saying I would never work a sat if a customer REALLY needed me to, I just prefer not to:)

I’ve cut down on Saturdays quite a bit this year and VERY rarely work in the morning. I’ve started to tell customers I need to tack on 15% for weekend work since my main employee and I usually work over 40 hours during the week and have families.
This doesn’t include reschedules or mess-ups on my part during the week.

Sometimes I forget that since I don’t have any kids, a Saturday is just like any day. + my wife is on my schedule

No, never. Saturday’s are my Sabbath and my day of rest. However I do work Sundays when the need arises.
