I am walking out the door to hand out my first round of door hangers. I have a 1000. I like the idea that I can put them on the houses I choose and they are well designed with perforated coupons so I think I can target some high end homes with results. Everything in my area is 300K on up into the millions. My question is who has done the door hanger route (themselves vs. hiring out) and how were the calls you received? Can I expect 2 or 3 percent return at least which would be 20-30 jobs out of 1000 hangers. Anyone recommend hiring it out? I spent 430$ on these and not sure of I trust just anyone to hand them out. Any experiences, anecdotes or insights would be helpful. Thanks.
