I have a great looking brochure for my business. However, it is not a door hanger. It’s a standard size brochure. I tried using a hole punch, then putting a rubber band through the hole to hang on doors. This would work great with door knobs, but I didn’t think it through enough. Most front doors have handles, not knobs so the rubber band trick will not work(no way to tie it). Any ideas on hanging standard size brochures on homeowners doors? Thanks
Right now I’m doing door to door, with postcard size ads, basically postcards with my special, on the front and blank on back. I for the most part, just slide it in between the door and the door frame. This method seems to work well, and I’m already getting a 1% call back. So u might try that

When doing door-to-door is it best to actually knock on the door and speak with the homeowner or just put your flier on the door?
This may depend on ordinances in your area. Some place do not allow door to door solicitation. They will usually allow you to drop off brochures or fliers. If it is allowed, it may come down to time. It takes a great deal of time to knock on doors a personally talk to people. Dropping off fliers is much faster and of course, there is less rejection. Good luck with which ever method you choose.
