We started doing this as an add on service last year. 2 different ways to do it. 1st is with a set of brushes from hardware store $50 or A forced air method about $300 for the setup that hooks onto a high volume air compressor.
We charge anywhere from $14 for apartment complexes with 50+ vents to $125 for single residential vents…Its a popular add on at $59 though as an add on for residential customers and uaually takes 15 min. unless of course its one like i had last week that had a birds nest in it… took me an hour to get that sucker out!

LOL @ me stumbling across this thread. Great one Tony. I thought how easy of an add-on this would be. Also marketing it by itself would be pretty easy. Looks like close to the same hourly we make cleaning windows. Closing in on spring I wouldn’t have time now, but perhaps a good winter project.
Did you do it Tony? How many other people are doing it? Doesn’t look that difficult with the right tools.
I’ve done a few now. Usually just a quick clean of the last few feet of the vent leading up to the cover.
I add this on to alot of my resi. customers. I use a large vac with a special attachment on the dryer end, then go up on roof or where ever it comes out, I have sections of flex pole that attach to my cordless screw gun with a special brush on the end. Once I get the brush all the way to the end of the vent I make about 6 passes to make sure vent is clean. When I am done I also clean the inside of dryer and the vent screen. Then to finish it off we always vacuum the laundry room floor and leave it cleaner then when we got there. Also a little tip. I always keep extra dryer vent clamps on the van just in case.
How much did your set-up cost and where did you get it?
Here is some top stuff, but not cheep.

Where are the prices?
I emailed them, the complete kit with a case is just under 700.00. They do have small kits in the mid 300.00 range. I can’t for some reason share that price list.
Anyone tried the lint eater? Good reviews and price wise it is under $30 (more in Canada ) Amazon.com: Gardus RLE202 LintEater 10-Piece Rotary Dryer Vent Cleaning System: Home Improvement
