Do you use wooden or plastic tips?
My Unger tip is plastic, and it just has the wrong taper for it, so I smash a Garelick with a wood tip onto the double bend 16 ledger, and close out between stacks of nailed 2x4’s and a fence behind me with air conditioners in front. it’s kind of a bitch. I’m finding it easier to use the Excelerator at 10 degrees with a 12’ pole, and close out to the side
I use Unger tips that have the locking mechanism in them and I just drilled a hole right where the pin is and it locks it on the pole tip.
