E. coli cleaning?

I just got a rather interesting call for cleaning a home after an e. coli infection. Apparently they want the whole home sanitized from top to bottom. Calls have been a little slow lately, and I’m not sure that any other cleaning companies here would be willing to tackle this, so I’d like to pursue this if it looks feasible.

Anyone have experience/advice/tips for this sort of situation? The home in question is more than 2,000 sq ft, 2 baths, and 4 bedrooms

thanks!

sounds like a nightmare man, what happens when the infection comes back next month and causes the whole family to get sick?

Who’s doing the antimicrobial testing? Before and after?? Also if im not mistaken there are various diffrent strains of E. Coli, which one are you dealing with?

We decided to pass on this one. Too many headaches, plus our insurance carrier would probably flip their wig.

You made the right choice.

Thanks. When I called her back, I mentioned that a water damage restoration company like ServPro might be capable of handling it, as they deal with toxins such as mold. She said she had already called them, and they declined the job, also. I feel bad that I couldn’t help, but I’d feel worse if I botched a job I wasn’t qualified to do.

Forget about botching it, think if ya woulda spread it to you own home and family…i think many zombie movies start this way :stuck_out_tongue:
