I just had an enclosed patio I did today for $175. She had told me she had 2 companies come out to bid rescreening it at over $1,200 saying the screen material was used up and couldn’t be cleaned up. When she called she was hesitant because they said it couldn’t be cleaned. I told her it would look like brand new or it would be free, About $15 of product and 35 minutes later all done. I see they don’t sell speedy screen here but I have been using it for the last 6 months since I met them at the IWCA convention in TN. A 5 gallon concentrate is only $119. The stuff works awesome and I haven’t found that it makes glass hydrophobic like other screen cleaners. Enclosed are some pics of the work.
Pics? Where?

sorry they didn’t upload but they are there now
Looks great. Did you just scrub it on with a strip washer and leave it or does it have to be rinsed off?
Looks really good. Nice job!

Yep. Spray on and wipe up with a strip washer and no rinsing is required. I put it an the end of my pole to scrub tops and bottom that way I don’t have to bend or get on a ladder as I am getting old and try to minimize my total movements for the day lol. It’s a great add on for cleaning patio roller shades, and screened enclosed entry ways. Out here in az a lot of people have the front of their entry ways enclosed with custom metal art work that have bars or decorative crap like grape vines w tiny leaves that make it impossible to clean the sun screen material behind it. I just spray the crap out of them with speedy screen and rub with a towel where I can but if you can’t get to it a liberal spray and let it dry cleans it. Most entryways I get $75 and up and they usually take about 15 to 20 minutes. I always clean a little section so they can see the difference, plus if they don’t go with it they have this really clean section in an otherwise filthy screen.
Thanks for the tip!
I saved their websites to my favorites. I will try it sometime soon. Any idea how much they bang you for shipping?
Very nice.
How does it compare to Screen Magic? I tried SM and didn’t like the results. It also seemed to attract dirt after a while.
How long does the look last? The videos on the website said 6 months, but what have been your findings? We’ve got a few screened in porches here and I’m not going to take out a bajillion screws to run them through my washer.
How long does 5 gallons last?
I’m interested because even with the regular screens, I’ll run them through my washer to get the cobwebs and dirt and pterodactyl poop off of them and then as an up-sell, I could also treat the screens.
they have flat rate shipping on their web site of $8
Looks like this stuff is applied exactly like screen magic but has benefits that they don’t have.
I sure would like some more feedback from other users.

they do usps flat rate for $8 item shipped. I know if your ordering a case he will combine shipping
It works just like screen magic spray it on wipe it up. I’ve found that it keeps the screens clean at least 3 or 4 months but i’m in Arizona the dust capital of the world, and we just had a MAJOR haboob come through 2 weeks ago everything was cover in dust. I.ve also found when I go back to the houses i’ve used speedy screen on the screens look really good and sometimes I don’t even need to re spray speedy screen on the screen they just clean up with the strip washer and nothing else. I have not found that it makes the glass hydrophobic on the homes that I use pure water on. % gallons last me 2 to 3 weeks but were cleaning sun screens, enclosed patios, entryways and regular bug screens. I find my strip washer takes care of the cobb webs and if you shoot a heavy amount on bird crap with it it dissolves it and breaks it down so you can just clean that off with a strip washer
I probably make at least $700 to a grand per 5 gallon mix upselling the screen cleaning. my clients have loved the results.
All in all I think its a great product and their saving me money
He says there are silicon additives, so it could potentially bleed through to glass and make it hydrophobic…I am tempted to try it…we have dirty screens here pretty much year round…and I am tired of the scrub and and soap and rinse routine…but I ask this…do you have to treat both sides? it would seem so…what about solar screens, both sides too…they are usually pretty close knit…not sure of the time savings though…pretty much the same motions different material being applied…hmmm…
Thanks for posting your results. I tried Screen Magic at one house like 4 years ago and the glass became horribly hydrophobic. Just this year are they finally starting to show signs of losing that chemical on them.
thank you for the funny joke and the excellent late-Cretaceous period grammar.
Yeah, know that prob! This week I made the mistake of pressure cleaning a screen door that i had treated with SM.
SM hadnt worked very well so I went the next step. The sliding door went hydrophobic in a big way. Washed it a couple of times, looked like cr@p, so buffed it dry with cotton cloths. Could not get the film off completely tho. Lesson learneddeded.
Pete I’ve found on regular bug screens you only have to shoot one side, clean, flip and the just scrub the other side with no spraying. The meterail blows through and also transfers to your dry strip washer. However on sun screens you really do need to shoot both side. I will stack screens together and shoot them so the blow through goes to the next screen. Ive stacked up to 4 screens together shot the front then the back and then just rubbed up all 4 screens. As far as time savings, I think this is a HUGE time saver. no more bringing screens to a central washing station or dragging hoses, no more running screens upstairs and downstairs, Scrubbing, rinsing, waiting for them to dry and then trying to figure out which screen goes where. I would say on an average 1 story house that we do with 15 to 20 bug screens we spend about 5 to 10 minutes total cleaning screens (an average size screen with speedy screen we can clean both sides in about 30 seconds) With the old fashion way of soap and water or tide or whatever you may use I would say that we sent at least 30 to 40 minutes cleaning those same screens. And when it comes to sun screens forget about it. Those suckers never come clean. This is the only thing I’ve found that cleans them really well and most importantly quickly.
Just talked to the speedy clean guy today to ask him few questions. I think I am going to order some a give it a try. Really just worried about making the windows behind them hydrophobic. One house I have I know the last window cleaner must of sprayed an entire bucket of screen magic on all her back sliding screens. They are so difficult to clean now.
What do you charge per window screen (half screen)?
I’m a little surprised that professional cleaners are calling this “screen cleaning”. We all know that you can’t just spray something on top of dirt, pollen, gunk, etc and it be clean. This seems more like a color enhancer than a cleaner.
