On certain jobs I don’t ever deal with the fungus (little black dots, usually near mulch areas)-- not on the second story at least. I just scrape them while I clean if they are too bad-- or just do them by hand on the first stories.
I think the worst are some kind of fly that lays it’s eggs on glass. It is NOT the fungus, it hardens and becomes “sticky” and really doesn’t come off without the scrub corner of the wand OR with a blade. Very annoying. Some kind of fly here in the area
I’d also like to point out that my “old school” aluminum Tucker pole with the 1/4 hose puts out around 1.50-1.70GPM…I guess they don’t make them with the 1/4 drill holes anymore. I am only familiar with this Tucker pole style, have used it for many years. I had used one of those Ionic systems, I think it was the Grafter 32 foot-- not a fan of the smaller hose and spray jets. Also have used that high end Unger carbon pole, I like it but am not used to the Alpha brush and rinse bar at all. I am curious what the GPM the new Tucker poles put out. I love lots of water for all these huge panes.
It has made my job easier. That’s all I will say. I’m getting a lot more work done in a lot less time. Results are same as by hand, if not better.
