Etorre SWIVEL Ledger

Good morning all,

I just stumbled across the Etorre Swivel Ledger while doing some shopping on WCR. Has anyone used it? I’ve never really like the regular ledger i have b/c it doesn’t fit well on any pole that I use. The E. Swivel has a regular handle on it though…looks like it would feel/work much better.

Any experiences or opinions out there? Thanks.

Where is the Ettore Swivel Ledger? I have never seen one.

Thanks

We like it.

merv,
go to wcr’s shop and look under squeegee handles, then under Ledger Handles. it’s right there. see what you think.

 (my son just walked up and said, “dad, put one of those face stickers on there”)

BJ are you talking about this one:

Ledger Swivel handle

Those are actually not made by Ettore. They are made by a small company called Companion Tools.

(just to clarify so folks don’t get confused)

yeah chris. thanks. sorry alex. looks like an etorre handle…i guess my deep innate window cleaning instincts took over :stuck_out_tongue:

has ACWC used it? what do you know/think about it?

I have used one in the past, not a fan of it. If I remember it broke with in a few months and filed it in the trash. Not one too bad mouth tools, but that on sucked for me.

I gave my regular ledgers away and kept the swivel version.

What broke?

The complaint I’ve always read regarding Ledger (Companion) tools is related to issues of keeping it firmly attached to a pole (i.e. duct tape.)

It’s a great tool for deep ledges hence the name. I have used them for years. Over time the swivel section wears out or the plastic will snap in have where the brass and plastic come together. Its a ruged tool for sure. I putine. Its nice to have when you really need it.

Replacement parts are available for the Ledger Swivel Handle.

Thanks Mike,
I never knew that.

After thinking about what the handle looks like, im pretty sure they maybe just bought a bunch of handles from Ettore to make it. Its almost identical to the old super system handle.

Here is one that’s not broke, One that is. The are stamped (The Ledger Companion Tools)

After a couple of years my swivel ledger broke too !! Called the co. And the next week had a new one. Fixed the old one with metal and both are in service for 3-4 years. A lot depends on how u take care of your equipment !! If it’s just banging around in the back this is where the rubber gets dings and sq bent and broke !!!i have a gun rack where they hang !! Stan, pro window kle

As I remember, when I told the company it broke, they said too bad. When I say company, I mean the place I bought my supplies before this site. Live and learn. It is cold here in mi. of course, but I take good care of my stuff. I did pick-up another one but as time went on learned too like my solid ledger, no swivel better. Nothing too break, better results, just have to learn different way of doing things. Hell, now that I dug and found it, may carry it in the van this spring/summer.

Now that’s the advantage of doing business with WCR! Didn’t even sell the product, but is helping anyway! Awesome, Chris. Awesome.

I do 23 lowrise buildings quarterly. I go through ledgers and this one I want to try!

This is what I have been using lately:

It has been repaired and feels like it is going to break soon but the adjustments are great.
