Now this is one fabulous window cleaners ladder. It’s not a sectional or a regular extention either. I have seen them on YouTube being used in Europe many times. Can we get one in the states?
Thats a RAMSAY A FRAME Window cleaners ladder Mike… they are made in the UK…they come in different sizes
you could always import one… i was thinking about getting one myself
I thought you already had one.
We have a 40’ that has the pointed top, even has the V-groove.
Pretty sure it came from National Ladder & Scaffold.
Hi Mike no mate what i have is a sectional… brilliant piece of kit , but all fixed lengths and dare i say it quite bloody heavy…what that guy in the vid is not sectional.
all the Best john ( bloody hot here for may…)
What we need is an invention that will turn a regular extension ladder into a tapered-top ladder such as the sectional. Maybe something could be affixed to the top of a regular extention ladder in the way that leg levelers can be. I’ll bet He-man could engineer it
i see a lot of those "pointer "ladders in use over here . the legs are always splayed to stop the risk of the ladder spinning if you happen to reach out . i understand one of the big makers of these ladders has recently started making them without splayed legs and its a very dangerous decision that could put lives at risk .
i havent used a pointer myself but i can see the advantages but i also see one disadvantage ,in that they look a bit bulky to carry around
In theory only, you could attach a top section of a stack ladder to an extension ladder just like a standoff, you’d be able to attach it with u-bolts at multiple spots.

I get these made for me locally. This one is 20ft and I love it. They last me about 3-4 years and then I leave it at the end of my driveway and it’s gone in about an hour. Cost is about 230 (I might have to check that) and depending on how busy they are it can take a week or two to get it done.

Are you talking about the whole pointer ladder or something else? I ask because $230 seems to low a price for the whole ladder.

I wish my Metallic sectional ladder had a narrow top on it like your ladder and the ones they make in the UK. I rest ONE rail against the building when the ladder set is a tight squeeze and try not to be stupid and roll the ladder. As long as I keep my weight shifted to one side favoring the correct rail I’m good.
Pointer ladder, Ill dig out the invoice…
BUMP. I want to find out where I would go to get one of these ladders built. They’re awesome!
Allright Ladder and Scaffold Co.
That invoice is buried, but Im due for a new one. I’ll give them a call next week and get a price.
Is that a wood ladder? That thing is sweet!!
