How much of a pita are these exterior storms to clean? They have these latches that move to the side to open and screws that you would have to unscrew. I would think the hard part would be lifting the storms and screwing / latching them back in?
The customer went with someone else for $200 more who would be removing these storms and cleaning them. I said we would just clean inside and outside. Is it worth it to mess around with these exterior storms?
Nope. We will do triple track storms, but anything that is screwed / latched / hinged in from the outside, we don’t touch. Too many problems.
I hope you ran like hell. Only exteriors on those.
I just recently did the exterior cleaning on this house. Those doors are storms. Screwed in. The water leaked between the panes. I thought she was going to blame me. I told her if you take them off I’ll redo all that glass, and she was good with it. Thank god
