Did they have a signed waiver in place?

If I remember correctly I had come across a case where the glass manufacturer was held liable for 55% and the window cleaner 45%. There are many homes I wash windows at that have roughly $75,000.00(give or take $25,000.00) worth of glass, and being held liable for 45% of the damaged glass, I would feel I lost. And w/ a liability policy that won’t cover FD damage? I would feel F@#ked

Interestingly enough in that case (the Wennings) they didn’t have a signed waiver and the glass manufacturer was still held mostly liable by the judge! They had a second case where the waiver was in place and they didn’t pay a dime. Also we’re only talking about tempered glass in these cases.

I wanted to ask particular questions but didn’t feel it was appropriate. I believe they had a waiver and the case was settled out of court and they still ended up paying a large sum to settle. Just didn’t feel comfortable asking even though I wanted to hear the information. I e-mail back 'n forth sometimes so perhaps I can ask if the day comes that I feel comfortable. I’ve got this thing about asking people about private business ya know.

I understand that completely. I don’t like to pry either. I just thought it was a situation you had read about or knew the ins and outs on.
