thanks, both good info.

its free so why not!

showing im a legit business is what i was thinking also.

Facebook pages can be great for Google ranking - if you update it regularly & have your profile filled out fully, occasionally link to your main website etc etc,… its well worth the effort!

Why wouldnt you? To take 10 minutes to set up a free page on the worlds largest social network platform is a no brainer. You may not get a ton of work from it but if you land one $20 per month store, would that not be worth the 10 minutes it took you?

I dont want to sound like I’m insulting you but you would be foolish not to

i don’t think we’ve gotten much/any storefront work from facebook but we’ve gotten alot of residential and gutter cleabing from it, it’s great in the winter to just do a quick $20 ad and make 5-10 times your money back.

My company’s first FB ads started running in August and I got a $260 results with a $40 tip so I stuck with it at $14 per week. I do a new pic for each weeks’ ad.

I also got contacted for carpet cleaning on my FB page in April before I started doing paid advertising. Several months later that turned into an RFP for weekly full service cleaning, biannual carpet cleaning, WC and exterior wall washing.
The page also boosted my SEO to number one in the area.
My page is: Homer Building Maintenance.

honestly any free advertising you don’t take advantage of is just money that is walking away.

eh, few drinks in me. read 1/4 of responses

I can not track a single cent made back to having a facebook page, yet not having one is like not having email these days.

Why to not get one?
If you don’t use it properly then it’s a waste of time, one more thing to manage and think about

It’s Sunday night, and I am sorting through Facebook messages on my Facebook page of people that are requesting estimates this weekend… get one… advertise… it works

@zenpix

Facebook works as long as you use it, correctly.

Just want to make it clear, I dislike FB on a personal level but it works for business.
