good resources and education, thanks for posting
No problem Bruce . Itās funny because after actually researching , and finding all that stuff.
Seeing that these guys are adamant about not using a sign shop. Thatās exactly where I went wrong.
I clean there shop, they been in business for quite some time , but there a sign shop not wrap professionals .
I think this stuff might help me though if I decide not to walk. Walking away from $ 1000.00. Is hard , but if you know me I wonāt walk away with out a fight. I will walk but they will be in small claims court .
No I canāt lock is office door an beat him senseless. Lol hmmmm. Na canāt !!! For my wifeās peace of mind it will be through the court system.

All small sing/print shops want to do wraps , thatās where the big ticket item is for them . So they say yes theyāll do it. But once they see itās not easy and there printer canāt print it or they donāt have the proper technic . They just canāt do it .
Mike , can you ask them to give you $1000 credit on business cards , flyer , postcards , maybe 2 sandwich sings instead . Looks like they spent the money and are just stuck , and canāt give you what they originally promise . Itās worth a shot.

Genaro, thatās a great idea. Iām going to have them do post cards, and signs for me instead. just have to get a value on those things. Like if I had him do 5000 post cards , an signs what should that cost.
Also I would just have to give him the template from one of Wcr designs correct ?
Wow Iām walking on clouds . Canāt wait to say stop the presses jerk off . Sorry had to. Lol.
Why wouldnāt he say yes to this. He has to, but what if he doesnāt.
I need to figure out how to present this to him in a professional way , not an angry way . Because letās face Iām angry.. I have to think what $$ worth of those things Would be fair for both of us. Really it should be a 1000. But he is going to say I wasted time with him. So it should be x amount.
Ok I got some thinking to do, but this is great because Iāve been looking at other shops an I found a few I like. Here is one of them. Long Islandās #1 Source For Vehicle Wraps

One always needs to present it in a way that it benefits the other party

Again, good sign guys are hard to come by. If they screw it up MAKE them fix it⦠Geez I hate shitty sign guys⦠Itās a sore spot for me⦠Most of them suck⦠Find the good oneā¦
āThis is a nice shop you got here⦠would be a shame if it, oh, I dunno, burnt to the groundā¦ā
Weird. How long have you felt this way? I mean, thatās just a weird trigger in my mind. If you said āI hate bad dentists.ā Iām on board. Or āI hate bad flooring and tile guys.ā I hear ya. But signsā¦?
About the last two years⦠One guy canāt get the logo spaced right on the shirt⦠The other guy screws up the logo altogether. Oh was that name tag crooked and ironed on? Whereās the pros in that business? At least in my neck of the woods these guys suck⦠Iām constantly telling them what to do⦠I hate thatā¦
Oh, now I get you and Iām with you.
Iām all for supporting local businesses but if they do a really shitty job over and over, Iāll find better ones or go online.
If you look around there are guys that specialize in vehicle wrapping.
Sorry, I meant what I would do in your situation. Sounds like these guys donāt really care about the quality of their work.
I think most of them just donāt really know what theyāre doing. I have noticed some nice wraps around but surprisingly they all came from the same guy. When I have and extra 2 or 3 grand to spend after everything else I might get something done. I just bought a pretty new truck and right now I have a decent vinyl setup on the box so itās not a critical priority. I wouldnāt run around with nothing though like some of these guys and myself when I first started. Decals definitely bring in business. Or at the least help people know WHOāS cleaning windows in the area. Thatās what matters to me. I want people to know who THE window cleaner is around here⦠When talking to people I always address myself as āthe window cleaner.ā
Live and learn I guess⦠At least we know what weāre looking for by nowā¦

I hear ya. I used to live in a small town with 1 dude per type of service and you had to take what you could get. But now living in the city, man⦠you got insane amounts of businesses for each thing so you can easily find some pros.
That said, I miss the easy going pace and relaxing feel of small town living.
Weāve tweaked the wraps a couple times over the past few years and we get calls every single day from them. We found that keeping it simple yet informative is the best way to catch the eye of our next customer.
Keep it clean and simple, yet sharp and eye catching. If I pass by going the opposite way I only have a split second to make you remember my companyās name and give a first impression.
I canāt count the number of times weāve been asked if weāre part of a franchise. Its such a huge compliment! Weāre based in a small town and service multiple countries and still get appreciated for being local, and yet everything we do is professional enough to be labeled as a national chain. People appreciate local AND professional service. Just my two cents.
Unique enough to stand out.
Informative at a glance.
Clean and professional.
Yeah sharp⦠Those are sweet.
Everything about that looks incredible! So did you design that yourself and tweak it, or did someone do it for you?
