All went really well, large upscale home. owners were pleased now i just need to get faster (took about 5 hrs, 4600 sf home)
5 hours for a 4600 sq. ft home is pretty good for your first time. Inside and out?
single story or two?
out only 1 story but a few with tricky access
right on, get em brah!
Awesome. congrats. Dont worry the speed will come.
The real question is, did ya make what ya wanted per hour?
If ya have an 80-100 per hour goal, and ya reached it. Then all is well.
If ya have an 80-100 goal per hour and you fell short by 50% then you need to get faster or raise prices.
Don’t get me wrong for what I’m about to say, but that piece of advice won’t fit this guy very well.
He’s getting started, he needs to focus on quality only right now, speed will come with practice … a guys tarting out shouldn’t be getting the same money as a seasoned veteran (i’m not either of those), and not because he doesn’t deserve it, just because he will naturally adjust his prices depending on his market and his needs.
word punta, good post:)
It was meant for the long term. ( not the next job )
I have no idea how busy this gut will be. Maybe he only gets a house a week. In that case, he needs to be in school. And by that I mean praticing.
Cleaning the windows on his own house to build speed.
He has not started a business as a hobby, he started it to make money.
If he is not clenaing windows on a job, he will either be marketing, or profecting his service, and learning to speed the job up.
When I started playing Texas Holdem, I played both in live games, and on line.
Online I was not playing for money, just honing my skills for the live table games.
I could not afford a live table game every day, so I played for free online.
Now I can sit down at just about any game when ever I want. I still pratice and hone my skills online, but not as often.
Eyes are set on WSP now.
