Say I wanted to advertise 20 windows for $199… Are the panes each counted as one window or are they included in the window? For example, I am looking at my window that consists of a top pane and a bottom pane that slides up, and I was wondering if it would be counted as 1 or 2 of the 20 windows included in the flat rate price. Thanks in advance.
Our formula is 2 panes of glass equals one window.
Chris: I’m assuming that your formula refers to single-hung and double-hung windows. What about casements like this? Mullions or not, is this two or four windows to you? Thanks.
That would be 2 windows and 2 transoms to me (transoms at a lower cost)
I too have thought about changing over to a flat rate because i am moving into eddm this year.
20 windows inside and out $199 price point. a customer calls an says how do you count the windows?
what is a typical response to this question so the customer can understand.
I ask because a customer usually has no idea what a transom double hung ect. is.
Yep we do it the same way…
Hmm… Who copied who? lol
for the record, they copied me
Its true we did…
