I’m really looking to start offering a few small add ons. I’m seriously considering dryer vent cleaning. I’m wondering what you’ve chosen to use. I saw the kit from Pro-Spin; I’m sure it’s great, but I don’t know if I can get away with starting Linteater Pro and a set of extensions (for about $60).
A second question I have is about process. Do you just run a vac/ lint kit attachments from the inside, or do you find the vent hole outside as well. If it’s on the roof, do you go there and open up the vent? Just trying to get a basic feel for what your service entails. Thanks in advance for any help.
Also, do you have a waiver you’d mind sharing?

If I was you I would watch some YouTube videos. I know for sure you want to open up both sides and make sure all the junk is out. My buddy does it but there are some rip off artists out there so try not to be one of them.

Thanks man. Definitely agree. My only concern at this point is needing to get on roofs for opening other vents. I don’t know how comfortable I am walking on roofs.
Yeah idk man. I’d charge more for roof jobs and try to price out of it. Guys here charge $125-175 for dryer vent cleaning. Pretty good considering it takes like an hour. Then you get into air vent cleaning and it’s big money.

I done a few add ons with dryer vents, easy to do, just moving dryer out the way, get vac in there, depending on length of venting I go outside and push lint towards vac with vent brush on drill. Watch out for brittle covers on the outside, upsell a new one, or upsell new tubing to the wall vent from the machine. Get a pokey brush and pull all the extra lint from under/ inside the dryer. Try and get them on repeat cleans too.
One vent tho started to clean with my brush and the whole thing fell apart and disappeared into the crawl space. Had to run new venting from dryer to outside. Charged for it all as the origanal was not the correct material but still pain in the butt for what was supposed to take 1/2hour. Hope that helps
i have some dryer vent and duct cleaning equipment i dont use. i could part with
