Bought these about 9 months ago from here, and used them on 8 bigger jobs… The the 4th part of the section had a defect in it, so I sent it back to Reach higher ground, but it is going to be a little while before they could get that section in, so I had to buy the simpole so I could get some of the jobs done that I had lined up… Only reason for selling is due to help pay for the simpole… You will need to talk to Shawn or Alex about when the 4th section would be in, I think it is going to cost around $225.00 for it. Make me a reasonable offer… I paid $2200.00 for them, but I know the price has dropped a bit! Also comes with a 16inch boars hair brush too. If you want pics just let me know. my cell 352-284-9454 or e-mail [email protected]
Thanks.
Why did you feel the need to post this video like 8 times under different threads?
How much are you selling it for?
so did it sell?
They are still for sale, I would like to try to get around $1,000 for them…
How do you like the SimPole?
What video are you even talking about?
Love the pole, I actually used it today on a 4 story hotel, it did a great job!
Did you ever sale the gardiner? Which pole do you like better?
No I ended up keeping it. I like it, what I normally will do is after a day or two with the simpole, I will use the gardiner because it’s half the weight of the sim. I don’t like using it all the time because it’s to easy to brake it.
How have you found the Gardiner to be breakable? Has it broken on you? Mine seems pretty tough.
Tony
Yes the top of pole #4 has broke on me. When I got the new replacement in the mail, It was also broke, must just be my luck. I have another Gardiner also and no problems with that one.
It arrived broken? Did they honor their warranty?
Thanks,
Tony
What exactly broke on it John? You said the top of section 4, are you talking about the clamps, the pole itself? Was it cracked? What exactly was broken? Why didn’t you just saw back passed the bad part and put the clamp on it?
I ended up waiting to get it fixed rather then right away, I put it on the backburner so I just took care of it myself. This is the super-lite pole so it doesn’t have the clamps, each section goes into eachother. I was thinking about just cutting it, but my the buddy was trying to tell me it could cause some problems, come to find out I could have just cut the first 5 or 6 inches off. Should have just listend to myself. It wasn’t cracked, it was like the first 5-6 inches of the pole was almost sliced, half if it was still hanging on and half was broke, I may still have a pic of the broke part, I’ll check so it will be easier to understand. Either way I got it all fixed now, and haven’t had a problem since then! Do you have a Gardiner pole also Tory?
Yes, I have an SLX 30. I like it a lot. It seems pretty tough too.
Tony
OH OKAY, see thats what I get for reading too fast. I misread it, didn’t notice it was the super lite, I’ve never even seen one in person so I don’t know anything at all about it, and 5 or 6 inch’s is ALOT to cut off for sure… and OH HECK yeah I have a gardiner, I got 3 of them. Had 4 (tear running down cheek…) but had to sell it cuz I needed to pay some bills.
No big deal! I have the 27’ CL-X, also use that one the most. That sucks, I think I’m going to end up going with the Super-lite Extreme, is that one of the poles you have, If so how do you like that it?
No I don’t have that one, got all the other SLX’s though. The extreme IS my next pole. No doubt about it. The high modulus fiber (after I found out what it was, of course I pretended to know exactly what it was when I first heard it…) cuts out the bend EVEN MORE. I dig it. Plus, the 61 footer collected more dust and was more in the trophy rack than it was out in the field. With these, you USE them. We all use them at 45’ to 50’ and when we need it, BAM, there it is. Not on the trophy rack, it’s making money for us like it’s supposed to.
Yeah, I’m getting one to as soon as I can, but its gonna be til summer I’m sure.
new clamps for all simpole order though wcr for $160.00.
