Anyone using a generator to power a 110v RO/DI cart?
If so, what size is the generator?

Juggernaut uses one I believe…
I was thinking of buying this one for my setup
Home Depot $149
Dont have one yet, but I will be getting a 2000W Honda.
Looks like the 2000w is what is needed.
Thanks folks.
Shawn,
This just might be me, but if you were to build a system with only the best and then to not buy the best generator it could be the deciding factor for lots of people. I know if you built one and did not use a honda it would probably keep me from buying if it were not easily an option. I think the majority know that quality costs.
Yeah I have one but it’s way way way overpowered. I have a Coleman 5000w, but I got it cause it was on sale for $350. I did not expect to buy it as I was using a 2500W that ran shaky at best. But I went to the depot one day an they had some closeout sales. When I saw the Brand and power I could not pass it up. I love it, runs all day one 1 tank of gas. I also like that it’s powerful enough that if the power went out in my home I could power the majors like the fridge. A little bit of a pain to bring around with me though as it’s large. I have heard people using 1000W with no problems. But those little coleman 1000w portables cost a lot.
Heres the one I have.
Just found out they went out of business. Great. LOL Guess that’s why they were so cheap.
Honda Super Quiet Generators (EU line) are available from 1000 ($800 list) to 6500 ($4,000 list) watts.
Quiet but pricey.
