HD has light duty all-purpose gloves at $8 for a 10 pack right now. I’ve always bought the atlas gloves for $6 - $8 each and usually toss them after a few jobs (our Northwest gutters can make them pretty nasty very quick). These light duty ones last about the same and are super inexpensive. They’re also not as bulky which makes it easier to get your hand in there.
Are they cloth, gardener type gloves?
Yes, cloth with the rubber coated front like the gardener type. Just lighter duty. I think they only come in large, which is what I usually buy. They fit really good on me. I bought one pack, tried them on in the parking lot, then ran back in to get 4 more!
Thanks for the tip. I use them quite a bit, even around my own house.
Yep, my local HD has them on an end of aisle display so it may be a temporary deal.
They’re PVC coated I believe
I’ve used the atlas gloves before but hate having soggy hands 10 minutes into the job when the water leaks through the cloth part of the glove. I ditched the atlas gloves and got some heavy duty water proof neoprene coated cloves. They are like dish gloves but thicker.

I rarely use gloves when cleaning gutters.
There is some nasty stuff in those gutters to be using nothing to protect your hands. Ants, spiders, roaches, and rats live, eat, and pee in there. Protect yourself!
When it’s extra soggy out I use that type but they always seem to snag on some sharp piece of gutter line and my hands end up wet before long anyways. They can get pretty funky from sweating in them too.
I pushed a rust nail into my hand, just taking what I thought was a “little handful” out real quick. Ouch…
I use the heavy duty PVC coated gloves… And I use them longer than most, because I put disposable liners on underneath, so no stinky hands.
I get these Marigold gloves for about 1.50 each

and I use these liners

When the liners stink, I toss them in with some hucks. When you tear a glove, at 1.50 you just grab another one.
I pulled a dead rat out a gutter yesterday, very glad I had gloves on.
yeah I wear those gloves, I also bought white latex gloves to that i put on underneath the gloves, it keeps my hands pretty clean.
