Gooseneck or longer WFP for these residential windows?

I have a few neighborhoods with clients that have steep pitch roofs with windows recessed 3-5 feet behind them that are quite hard to reach. Currently I use a tucker bravo (22’ 6" pole) and I struggle to do them so I usually resort to either laddering up and squeegeeing or standing on an A-frame ladder on the driveway to get up there. Either way, not super safe so I’m going to buy either (and perhaps both) a 30 foot pole or a 36" gooseneck.

If I HAD to buy only one, what would you recommend for most residential jobs? Does the gooseneck provide enough length to get past most of these overhangs, or is that more easily solved by an 8 foot longer pole?

Recessed Windows

Get the Xero Micro Ultralight. It is high modulus carbon fiber. I recently bought the micro basic and its not high mod and little to wiggly for me. Both are 30’

Go with a high quality stiff pole instead of a long gooseneck. You’ll be able reach those windows quite easily.

How far does that roof extend from the house?

The problem will be solved by an 8 foot longer pole. Step back a few feet and you’ll easily hit every one of those windows. Let the weight of the pole and brush do the work.

Xero is the way to go.
