So we got a demo of Work wave , it’s made by the same company as service CEO. Very impressed by it. It’s basically a full platform. It isn’t 100% complete compared to service CEO but will be by the end of 2017. It has a GPS/navigation plugin for truck tracking and navigation on the trucks(similar to Teletrac), a marketing plugin that automatically asks for reviews and tech surveys after every job and they are in the process of integrating postcard marketing, it also has a route optimization add on that can tell you the best day and time to schedule a job based on the current routes, the dispatch board is cool also. It tells you how many miles away every job is on the board from the other jobs so you can route the most efficient way based on mileage. The other part they are working on is internal inventory management for your warehouse. Right now the system can already track supplies and equipment for individual jobs but they are also Making it be able to keep track of all equipment and supplies in your entire inventory.
The other great thing is that the pricing is very competitive $59 per concurrent user logged into the system.
Things that are missing:
Detailed reporting like service CEO(you can create a report based on pretty much any info in service ceo-payroll, time spent on jobs/job costing, and tons more) automated emails, and custom fields.
They are working on forklifting the reporting and automated email and custom fields for mid 2017 to start switching over service CEO clients onto the platform.
But, if you are out there looking at software, take a look at this one. The features blow pretty much everything else that we looked at over the past month out of the water(we were looking leave service CEO, but no one has the reporting we need and no one can export our 400+ recurring jobs) so we actually felt stuck for a bit. We wanted to look at other options because service CEO Mobile is very limited and the software is expensive so we didn’t think we could continue to grow with it. Then service CEO reached out to us and said take a look at their new platform because service CEO is going away in 3-5 years and they felt it addressed all our concerns and it seems to. Their mobile app is great too, however no picture upload yet but thats coming this Nov/Dec.
So just wanted to give you guys a heads up in case you were looking.
