Got my first van yesterday...?

OK here I go… I finally got a van 07’ Chevy express 2500 extended panel. I have used trucks for going on 12 yrs. and finally see the advantage to having my guys work out of a van.

I am looking for some help… can you hard core van guys send some picks to give me some ideas? I have a rough idea of where to put a tank and pumps but need some other suggestions. Like… how to you store squeegees and poles, rags, extra rubber etc.

When I have mine all ready to go I’ll put up a pic!

Thanks WCR buds

Good for you. I work out of a truck and have been seriously looking at vans too. I still owe too much on the truck to trade in I think. For the cost of my truck I could probably get 2 decent used cargo vans. Looking forward to seeing what you do to it.

Here is mine while I was still working on it. 100 gallon tank, two hose reels, pump on the left side, battery up top(now in a box), Sim440 on the top right. Works awesome. I have 1 storage system next to the side doors for all the window cleaning goodies.

thanks Brennon, appreciate the pic. How did you have your supplies?

nothing fancy, kind of messy right now. everything is in clear plastic containers.

I will get a few snaps of our E250 tomorrow and post them up. We did a lot of customizing. Mounted tool boxes and shelving, Pvc tubing for poles and wfp, di tanks with hose reel mounted in back.

Great! Thanks

I would think about putting in a pull out drawer in the rear. They are great for keeping stuff organized and out of sight. We put a 48 " wide one in our new van and a 24 " wide in our older van out the side door… The ones from Adrian Steel are the best. Very heavy duty.

Here is a pic of the smaller drawer in my # 1 van. It pulls out the side sliding door.

Defiantly have a lot that fits in that drawer

What are all the drills for?

I install the ClearView Invisible Screen doors. (like Phantoms, but 100 times better)

Awesome

It’s funny seeing the pics of these vans. I do carpet cleaning as well so I’m so used to seeing the vans packed full.

I honestly think that most business owners buy more vehicle than they really need. For some it makes sense to plan for future growth, but I really believe most would benefit from some rethinking. I’ll be uploading a video soon to show exactly what I mean.

2009 E-250 wanted something smaller but this was too good to pass on
I was using a 97 F-150 W/ full ladder rack. I have so much room

Anyone else want to give me some ideas? Also who has bed liner sprayed in the floor? Who doesn’t and why? Thanks everyone!

Go big or go home baby! The first picture was NOT intended to show the inside of my rig. I thought that it looked like my boy J. was dropping a deuce but he was just taking lunch on a custom jump seat that I built. I can carry two passengers with me albeit, not legally.

Please put wheels on it.

This is awesome. Makes you look real serious.
