Hello,
Im new to this first time posting. I started my small business just about 6 months ago and stated with trying to land some commercial, but not am trying to get more residential customers, my capitol is low so I don’t have the money to do a mass direct mail out, so my question is, has anyone had success with groupon or living social? and if you have what kind of deal did you offer? Where im at the going rate for a residential window cleaning is anywhere from 4-8 dollars full window in and out, so basically 2-4$ a side.
Also I guess while im here what have you guys found most effective sales strategy for commercial window cleaning?
Thanks!
Do a forum search there were some folks here that have done it in the past year, pros, cons etc…
I don’t think either is geared towards commercial…only residential
Welcome, Kyler(?) Yes, Groupon can be successful if you do it right. From the experience of the one company I know that made a success of a Groupon campaign, you REALLY have to do it right. Tire-kickers who always want a great deal will not be your long-term core clientele. Getting out there and canvassing is great. People will become familiar with you and over time you can become the “guy in the blue shirt with a smile that’s always doing windows here on Tuesday afternoon”. In other when a storefront owner is all of a sudden looking for a window cleaner, he’ll know to watch for you on, say, Tuesday afternoon. Just my 2cents.
