I just wanted to get everyones opinion on what to charge per downspout ( Exterior clean )… Just washing the outside of them?
We are currently charging .75cents per linear ft to ( Basic- Just hand removal of debris ), $1.00 per linear ft for Hand removal and gutter flush ) Deluxe Package & 1.75 per linear foot ( Includes exterior gutters to be cleaned but not downspouts ).
I just have prices for total sq ft of house. Super easy that way. Some homes you get burned a little, others you make great money, but it always averages out.
I’m all about quick and efficient. Give a bid and quickly move on to the next. 85% we bid over the phone.

I don’t for windows. Just walk through over the phone. It’s right about or close enough 90% of the time.
Just about everything else, yes by sqft. Each service has pricing blocks. So a 2200 sqft home is less than a 3100 sqft. I look up the address online, either zillow or trulia or county records.
Then each service has modifiers that will increase the price. For example
House washing a brick home, aluminum, or stucco is more expensive than a vinyl.
Gutter cleaning price will increase in they have gutter guards, number of stories, walkout basement, and wrap around gutters (which I can tell from bing maps)
Gutter whitening is just by sqft of home and wrap around gutters
Windows quotes usually take 10-15 over the phone. Everything else is about 5 min. I hate doing an in person bid for residential, waste of my time. Of course if they request it I will and that’s usually only windows.
I have charged by the square ft with multipliers for gutter cleaning for 10 years. Some I still look at if needed. It all averages out like what was said by Tastycruton.
Your prices seem low, maybe difference in country? I would say on average close to double that and I don’t charge for downspouts as most are either unclogged or can be unclogged in 30 seconds of work with the hose. Like others I don’t charge by the foot, but do shoot for $125/hour while actually cleaning, with drive time it usually comes out to around $100/hour. Once you have done it for a while it is easy to estimate in your head how long it will take, of course you are slightly off on some but it balances.
